Grunge is not dead.
Dario Distasi - Coming Around
Dario Distasi (born April 12, 1985) is an Italian rock musician and singer-songwriter based in Manchester, UK.
Dario’s songwriting is evocative and sincere, inspired by his personal experiences, his emotions and his view on society.
Musically, his songs show the influence of many diverse genres and styles, ranging from grunge to blues, from jazz/fusion to hard rock and so on.
Dario is currently recording a new EP, working with Nashville-based producer Drew Middleton. The record is being recorded in several studios, both in Nashville and Manchester, and the final product should be ready within 2 months - it's definitely the best music ever written and recorded by Dario!
The Beat Dolls - Forgive Me
After leaving his funeral, a woman conjures the ghost of her sweetheart to work through the stages of anger, bargaining, depression, and finally, acceptance, in a single night.
I didn't mean to kill you in a fit of rage.
Why don't you believe what I say?
Oh, even in life, you never believed that I loved you.
Oh, I'm so sorry. Please forgive me.
I didn't mean to kill you in a fit of rage.
I really think you'd understand if you'd just, look back and replay in your mind, what happened that day you'd find
That I"m so sorry. Please, forgive me.
I didn't mean to kill you in a fit of rage.
I really don't think it's very fair for you to blame me for something you made me do.
It wasn't me. I was you.
I forgive you for what you made me do.
Do you forgive me, too?
I'm so sorry. Please, forgive me.
I didn't mean to kill you in a fit of rage.
Why don't you believe what I say to you?
All I wanna tell you is the truth.
All I ever wanna do for you is see your precious face,
and feel your warm embrace.
I forgive you, for what you made me do.
Do you forgive me, too?
Diatomea - Cobain
"Cobain" is the first single from the homonym full length of Italian alternative metal band "Diatomea". The song is not only a tribute to Nirvana's charismatic frontman, but it's also a reflection about the tendency to exploit and misread musical artists, transforming their personality into an icon. In fact, as often happens with charming musicians, Kurt Cobain was misunderstood on two levels: both with the moralistic opinion from who didn't understand the disease behind his drug addiction and suicide, and with the cynical reduction of his emotive and human complexity to a mere product to be sold. So "Cobain" isn't simply an imperative dedication to such an inspirational musician, but it's also an invitation to abandon every preconception about art, respecting the author behind it.
Kids on Neptune - Bodies in Lies
Kids on Neptune was formed in 2012 when the guitarist and singer Antonio Valentini and the drummer Giovanni Chiodi met at a university party. In March 2014, the bass player Matilde Marchetti joined the band, giving new impulse (and intensifying the creation of new songs).
From their different background, the three members of the band gave birth to a dynamic and desertic sound, marked out by grunge, punk and stoner rock influences.
After two years of live shows in their hometown, Forlì, and in the neighbouring provinces of Bologna, Ravenna and Rimini, on July 2016 Kids on Neptune sign for the Italian-indie-label Seahorse Recordings. On March 2017 Giovanni quit the band, due to personal reasons, and was replaced by Alberto Carapia.
Creature - Bored

A three piece with grunge and noise rock influences from Newcastle who’ve been together just over a year. Loud, fuzzed up and known for an energetic live show.
We shot this in a shipping container on the hottest day of the year. It was in this storage place so people kept coming to drop off bits of furniture and crap while we were playing.
It was like doing vigorous exercise in a really hot, loud oven for eight hours so we look pretty fucked in the video.
Pressione Su Malta - Raise Your Gun

In 2012 they had a break, but in 2014 they started again to compose developing a new kind of sound, different from the previous one. In September 2015 a new EP was ready, it contains six tracks and the funny title is 'Uhu! Uhu!'. It has been recorded at Dalek Studio in Messina and it's distributed by Music for People Distribution by Go Down Records.
