"The Devil in Miss Jones" is a DIY side Project of singer/guitarist Rolf Kaser from Zurich, Switzerland. Influenced by three chords 70's Punk rock, Surf and Rockabilly.

The Song is about waiting for a potential love letter from a girl which finally turns out to be a complete disappointment. So we figured it would be fun to have singer Chris waiting in front of different international locations and being all pissed-off. Also, we got these German postal service uniforms and tried to make complete asses of ourselves. To top it off we added some Beastie Boys late 80s vibe with a little post box thrashing and a good old-fashioned lawnmower chase. Prost!
In the deepest depth of Germany's wild, wild East three rats called Anna Killjoy, Mutant Ann and Invincible Vinc scraped their living by being tormented for new medical innovations for the human race. Chance brought it about, that in summer 2009 a huge detonation shook the ground and the rats were flushed out of the lab by a flood of strange, uninvestigated chemicals. To survive out there they started to play some rockin' instruments. Soon, they created some weird oldschool sounds and spread out to infiltrate the psychobilly scene and propagate their songs at festivals like the Satanic Stomp, the Psychomania Rumble or the Bedlam Breakout.
In 2012 guitar rat Invincible Vinc got lost in the jungle of subcultural music styles. A gloomy phantom called Flatty Killjoy joined the Retarded Rats adding more darkness and energy to their sound. In this constellation they recorded their first album „Lost In Space and Lost In Time“ which was released on Suzy Q Records. Till 2015 they played many gigs in Germany, England, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and Italy. In the same year they released their first 7inch „Underground Is Dead“ on Killjoy Records.
Unfortunately drum rat Mutant Ann's mind succumbs to the impact of the chemical treatment in the past. That's why Gordon Melmac joined the Retarded Rats on drums in November 2015. With him the trash'n'garage factor grew. The second album "Screams From The 10th Planet" was recorded, pressed on vinyl and promoted through a lot of shows in Europe. But Gordon couldn't handle the degenerating dementia that went hand in hand with the life on the road for a long time. In December 2016 Kris the Kid ascended the drum throne.
So prepare yourself for a wild and dirty psychobilly sound with trashy garage elements when the Retarded Rats come to your town!
Los Hell Gamblers es una banda puertorriqueña de Psychobilly formada en el 2007. Todo comenzó como un proyecto para traer algo nuevo a la escena del rock subterráneo en Puerto Rico.
Nosotros a diferencia de TODAS las demás bandas de la escena local NO utilizamos un bajo convencional, sino que utilizamos un CONTRABAJO (upright bass or double bass). Desde que comenzamos la banda el contrabajo fue una pieza clave. Sabíamos que sería riesgoso ya que ninguna otra banda en la isla lo utiliza, pero estábamos determinados en que sería el instrumento que produciría nuestro sonido único. El sonido del contrabajo es más grueso que el de un bajo normal, además utilizamos la técnica del “slapping” lo cual diferencia a las bandas “rockabilly” y “psychobilly” totalmente aparte de cualquier otra banda de rock. Con el tiempo hemos ido afinando nuestro sonido y los integrantes de la banda son:

Nuestras influencias musicales son “rock n’ roll”, “rockabilly”, “psychobilly”, “punk” y Oi!. Es esta mezcla la que nos da un sonido único el cual traemos en cada una de nuestras creaciones musicales. Entre nuestros temas se encuentran: Falso Profeta, Katalepsia, Encuentro Casual, Rock n’ Roll Callejero, Christine, Amor de Ultratumba y El Tren del Horror, entre otros.
Actualmente tenemos grabado nuestro CD el cual cuenta con nueve temas originales. Hemos tocado con bandas como Rezurex y The Triggers. dead kennedys,offspring,bad brains, iggy pop,sublime,por lo pronto continuamos tocando en “shows” locales ofreciendo al público algo nuevo, diferente y único LOS HELL GAMBLERS.
