Die Hartgeld Stricher, ein rein zufällig zusammengewürfelter Sauhaufen aus Landau in der Pfalz. Ohne Einstellung wie die Bildzeitung, talentfrei wie Daniel Küblböck und besoffen wie Harald Junke, hat es sich die 4 köpfige Band zur Aufgabe gemacht den Pöbel zur Sünde und Ausschreitung zu verleiten. Mit emanzipiert lyrischem Sexismus und Lobeshymnen auf den Alkohol, eskaliert die Band regelmäßig bei ihren Auftritten vor verstörtem Publikum und leeren Tanzsälen.

Images, which you can see in the video, such as image of a lonely woman, who lost all her family or the post-war devastation, are corresponding with the images seen by the author of the song in one of the villages during the Balkan tour in 2010. It gave the strongest emotional impulse on the creation of the song. This song was born in a specific place at a particular time and there is no place for any political context.

Waking the Neighbors is a high energy three piece Pop Punk trio from Omaha, Nebraska. They comprise of Drew Kohler on lead vocals and guitar, Shawn Weers on bass and vocals, and Daniel Richardson on drums. The band started in late 2012 in various apartments in the Midwest.
The name came from the countless noise complaints they would receive from having band practice too loud on late nights and the surrounding neighbors would have to call the police to shut it down. One officer said "You guys need to quit Waking the Neighbors if you want to continue living here." It stuck, and the party never stopped for the "Neighborhood" their loyal fanbase.
"Brushed Aside" is about a person who is a hopless romantic and no matter what has always ended up on the wrong end when it comes to relationships. These relationships had either been toxic or ended from cheating and lies and this person felt like they were always 'brushed aside' like an old painting that's decaying and covered in dust. Until, finally they meet and kiss their one true soulmate and everything was worth it in the end.
Sound and video edit here were actually done separately for the sake of sanity. But everything within the audio is from that first 13 seconds of footage using pretty minimal audio editing. Each note is just speeding up or slowing down that original note to get different pitches, hence why the high notes are so short. The drums had some EQ to them, everything got reverb, bit of mastering.
