Coming out of Lowell, MA, X'ella (pronounced Ex El Uh) is a hard hitting rock band that brings a blend of modern hard rock, punk, and classic roots together to create an energetic and melodic feel. Through their debut concept EP, Method To My Madness, released on August, 29th, 2018, they describe the constant struggle in dealing with mental illness and the acceptance of one's "inner demons".
“Carry Your Own Light” is an anthem dedicated to the beautiful souls that struggle with mental issues. The video opens with a noose inviting the viewer into their world of chaos and self-destruction.
The shot quickly pans out then looks in, breaking from the band to distressed fans. With hair pulling, thrashing, and screaming, the roaring chorus matches the intensity of their complex emotions. Holding the torch for resurrection, they master how to balance out their light and dark to ultimately become whole. At their lowest, they have looked up to gain insight into what they were running from: themselves. With their head held high, the video comes to a close with a new beginning.

The casting of the characters in this portion of the story, specifically "Doctor Rockter" was precisely what I had envisioned when I conceived those lyrics. Rarely does it marry together as well as it did in this video. The characters were suitably revolting... and Real!"
The video for “Dead End Towns” paints a haunting picture of a man who has not had the luxury to pursue his dreams. However, he still retains a sense of hope, as his love of music shows, despite these harsh circumstances. The story pairs well with shots of Burdens Within playing in front of an abandoned factory, which conjures up a sense of urban decay.
Delving further into the meaning of this powerful hard rock song, bassist Ryan J. Kline notes, “There are many ‘Dead End Towns’ across America with little hope beyond factories or fast food. This song/video is a tribute to those who aspire for something more.”

Rudhen was born in the spring of 2013 by three friends: Luca De Gaspari (drummer), Alessandro Groppo (singer and guitarist) and Fabio Torresan (guitarist), they wanted to dial a stoner-rock band. After a short time Riccardo Rix Rigo joins the band as bassist and, in 2015, he is replaced by Maci Piovesan. The first live begin in January of 2014: from this date they produced two EPs, 'Rudhen' in 2014 and 'Imago Octopus' in 2015, four videoclips: “Hellraiser”, “Black Spirit”, “My Soul on Fire” and “Arabian Drag” and many dates in the north of Europe (Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Denmark) and in the north and middle of Italy. After the second EP Alessandro stopped playing guitar to focus on singing.
In 2017, Davide Lucato joined the band as bassist, and with him Rudhen recorded the first complete album: 'DI(O)SCURO', accompanied by the videoclip of single “Magnetic Hole”.
Evocative and visionary lyrics and a mellow and hypnotic sound which have gone, in the last period, to the doom, with various psychedelic inserts. If the first works were markedly rock, 'DI(O)SCURO' represents an evolution to smoky and obsessive atmospheres who remember the Sleep, without forgetting the lesson of the fathers of the genre: Black Sabbath, all supported by elements of individual creativity of the components.
