Taxi Joe - Pain
A group of lads from South London, Taxi Joe are all about hooks, big guitars and feelings. Lots of feelings.
Having been together for over a decade, the band started out with Joe Acres and Louis Morgan recording their first track at school. After a chance meeting in Clapham, Devid Dell’Aiera joined the family and the lads have been fortunate enough to showcase their music across the UK and Italy. Taxi Joe have grown and disciplined themselves into explosive performers and as a fierce writing team. With feelings. Lots of feelings.
The band has been fortunate to open for the legendary Peter Green of Fleetwood Mac for his UK tour.
TJ are currently in the studio working on their brand new EP due for release in the spring of 2018. This will mark the first official tracks to be written with their new guitarist, Tommy London, who has an impressive amount of feelings.
Their influences are pretty eclectic, ranging from blues, soul, pop and Britpop. Their songs lead the sound, telling stories about modern city life with defiant optimism.
‘Of course there’s stuff in life that wants to hurt you or hold you down but it’s not going to stop us because we’re still going to love it, regardless. That’s what this band does, that’s what we’re about.’ - Joe
Good Charlotte - Self Help
Good Charlotte have dropped another video- their fourth from their recently released album 'Generation Rx'.
The lyrics for 'Self Help' deal with heavy themes around the search for meaning and self-actualisation, and the video adds to that narrative. The video follows a boxer as he works to better himself and his mind- t’s a glance into the demanding perseverance that it takes to overcome self-doubt, depression, personal frustration, and other mental health issues.

“Sometimes You Meet the Right People at the Wrong Times” Lyrics:
I am jet lagged from nights of over sleeping
I am not sure about the women I’ve been seeing
I don’t say the things I often mean
Locked down prisoned by my own thoughts
I am dead broke can money buy my time back
I don’t say the things I often mean
The writings on the photo that you gave to me
Is all I have left
The message that I read is that you still believe
You wrote it on the picture of both you and me
I said I had to go you said you don’t agree
With broken glass beneath my feet
Why did I leave
I am homesick from sleeping on the floor boards
I am up late with memories I can’t ignore
I don’t say the things I often mean
I threw away the photo that you gave to me
Casey - The Funeral
'The Funeral' is only the second video from Casey's album 'Where I Go When I Am Sleeping', released earlier this year through Hassle Records.
Speaking on the video for 'The Funeral', frontman Tom Weaver has shared "We are once again incredibly please to be collaborating with our longstanding creative director and friend, Martyna Wisniewska, and take great pride and pleasure in presenting to you the cinematic new video for our latest single, The Funeral."
