The Tri-State area and far beyond will soon get a jolt from an upcoming, infectious and energetic band from Central Jersey.
Hideaway is poised to release its debut single October 10th, “Nothin' on Me,” a song that showcases the powerful voice of singer Bree Rose propelled by irresistible guitar hooks and a body-moving groove. The video for “Nothin' on Me” is a musical masterpiece directed by award-winning Rock Davis of Itchy House Films whose client list includes Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group, Def Jam Recordings, and Bad Boy Entertainment among numerous other industry heavyweights.
According to Bree, “Nothin' on Me” is more than just a great song; it is an emblem for the identity of the band itself: “After that song was written, it was easy deciding on our name. Hideaway represents everything we believe our music to be: not only an escape but a safe haven. We had a blast writing and recording “Nothin' on Me,” which encourages those who are lost to stand up for what they love and believe in despite their self-doubt.”
There is much more to the band than their impressive sound; fans will be able to connect to a greater substance through underlying themes of positivity found in the group’s songs, a crucial element that Bree Rose maintains.
Part of that substance no doubt stems from Bree’s relationship with twin brother Nick Lafelice (guitar). The two also share a long-time bond with Mike Moraes (drums) and Eric Drylewicz (bass and backup vocals), all of whom are Jersey-born and raised. “We’ve all been great friends for years, we share a love for groovy funk-pop music and performing,” says Rose.

2016 was filled with performances including some significant tour supports for Tax the Heath and Wilson.
The band recorded their latest EP entitled 'Bay View' in June 2017 with well-known record producer Romesh Dodangoda (Lower Than Atlantis, Bring Me the Horizon, Funeral for a Friend), which is due for release October 23rd 2017.
The band released the first single from the EP entitled 'The Pragmatist' alongside this music video on September 18th 2017.

Ein Credo, dass die Berliner Band Mencouch in doppelter Hinsicht erfüllt. Rittz - I'm Only Human
The Atlanta metropolitan area stretches on for at least 30 miles beyond the Georgia Dome and the World of Coke. Peachtree Street (conspicuously void of actual peach trees) stretches up through several counties, changing its name a number of times, confusing the tourists and the transplants. Furthest to the north of the metro area, sits Gwinnett County; sprawling and well-populated by a mix of out-of-towners hoping to indulge in a slice of that oft-mentioned American Pie: a house in a subdivision with a yard for the kids. After closer observation though, it’s apparent that the suburbs of Gwinnett are the digs to many who don’t fit the cookie cutter, Stepford lifestyle. The county, more frequently being referred to as the Northside, boasts both million dollar homes on golf courses as well as drug hubs in neighborhoods riddled with gang activity. The Northside, essentially, is in stark contradiction to itself. Rapper Rittz is the Northside.
Raised in Gwinnett County, Rittz embodies the same level of irony and self-conflict as his hometown. Born into a musical family, he, his twin sister and their brother had always been exposed to the inner workings of music. The fact that their parents were heavily into rock and roll ensured that the kids were always around instruments or in studios. The family moved from small-town Pennsylvania (Waynesburg) to the Atlanta outskirts when he was eight years old, and once Rittz got to junior high, his musical tastes evolved. Atlanta’s booming bass and rap movement had traveled north on I-85 to get the entire metro area jumping.
”When I moved here, I was introduced to rap music. When I started rapping, I was listening to any early Rap-A-Lot records, like Willie D, Geto Boys… Kilo [Ali] was like the first. So when I started at 12 years old, my early raps, I tried to rap like them,” he explains, “But the early Outkast, and Goodie Mob was really the beginning of me wanting to rap and imitate them in finding my own style. Me and another guy were actually in a group called Ralo and Rittz [1995-2003], we were like the white Outkast, or we tried to be like that. I had a studio in my basement, and we put out a bunch of tapes in Gwinnett. I felt like we were one of the first, if not the first... There were only maybe one or two other people rapping in Gwinnett at the time, from ’95 to 2000.”

Bronxxx is a skate rock band from Japan that are influenced by the good old days of early 1980`s USHC, girl`s new wave bands and the sounds of wheels and decks at the skate park.
After a successful split release with The Tubuloids for RSD 2015; Beer City released Bronxxx debut album 'Poser Now Poser Forever' in 2016. Besides being an excellent album musically the legendary Tim Kerr of The Big Boys gave this record his blessing by doing the cover art. Bronxxx continues to play out in Japan and did California tour in summer 2017.

Offside is a Montreal hardcore band formed in 2015. The band recorded the Brotherhood EP in Montreal, QC and Troy, NY between December 2015 and January 2016. The project was mixed and mastered by the legendary Don Fury (Agnostic Front, Gorilla Biscuits, Warzone,Sick of it All etc.) at DFS Studio in Troy. The band's "in your face" and "no bullshit" approach to hardcore pays tribute to the earlier classic sounds of the streets. The band formed after an experimental collaboration between Shekaina, (Alex Dizon, Stra Salantes, Zeus Cesar and Than Pialago) and Hatred by Mistake (Emil Mendoza, Joseph Gonzales and Stra Salantes). After this successful event, all came with an idea of formally pursuing this hybrid experimental project and by blending of individual differences in music relatively which later called Sunflower Project (an homage to the game Plants Vs. Zombie).
Today Sunflower Project is still creating new music and sharing it in the most passionate way they can.

After releasing their first album "Murder Diary" in 2012, the band (based in Heidelberg/Germany) played many club shows and festivals with bands like Tankard, Debauchery, Disbelief...etc. before they recorded their second album "Into the Ruins" at the well known Kohlekeller Studios (All for Nothing, A Traitor Like Judas, Cripper..).
With "Into the Ruins", Soilid created a real bunkerbuster! A modern production on an international level, full of pressure, heavy guitar-riffing and mighty shouts. Without any rules they mix up Neo-Thrash Metal with elements of Hardcore and a big portion of groove. Soilid stands for energy loaded live shows and mercyless moshpits.

So we figured it would be fun to have singer Chris waiting in front of different international locations and being all pissed-off. Also, we got these German postal service uniforms and tried to make complete asses of ourselves. To top it off we added some Beastie Boys late 80s vibe with a little post box thrashing and a good old-fashioned lawnmower chase. Prost!
